New pharmaceutical approaches of heparin Hepari̇n'i̇n yeni̇ farmasöti̇k yaklaşimlari

Abstract

Heparin possesses anticoagulant structure and widely used as anticoagulants in the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism via paranteral route. Recently, several heparin studies have been performed on other administration routes such as oral, transdermal, pulmonary and rectal route. In this review, general knowledge about heparin and reported formulations studies concerning alternative administration routes up to now were given.
