Thebai Söyleninde Uyum (Harmony) ve Ölçü (Sophrosyne) Düşüncesi
Abstract
Legends have explanatory traces of the social and political lives of the societies that
create them. Measure and harmony are two concepts that dominated almost all
Greek life until 8th century B.C. These concepts also take place in Greek myths that
are the most important creations of Greeks. In this study Thebai Myth, which has an
important place in Greek Myths, and Sophocles’ Oedipus Trilogy are analyzed.
Furthermore, the concepts of measure and harmony are traced.
