Variability of light transparency in physically and biochemically different water masses: Turkish Seas

Abstract

This study describes chlorophyll-a concentrations and light penetration in the water columns of Northeastern (NE) Mediterranean, the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. The significant vertical differences were obtained among the regions and compared with each other.
