Finite quadratic modules over number fields and their associated Weil representations

Abstract

In this survey we report about recent research results in the theory of Weil representations of the Hilbert modular groups (and of their two-fold central extensions) associated the finite quadratic modules. We shall also indicate applications of these results to the theory of Jacobi forms over number fields.
