Abstract

Uyghur Turks, who established great civilizations in the past, lost their strength and influence from the end of the 18th century onwards. Since then, despite several successful attempts to face challenges and recover its strength, this society has never been able to regain permanent peace. There are a variety of internal as well as external reasons for this.
