The Role and Significance of Miracles in the Success of Prophets

Abstract

The Messengers shows miracles to support their claims of prophecy. However, this is possible with God's permission. In other words, prophets does not show miracle in every time that they want to do or in the position that they had a difficult situation. In this article we will try to determine how is the relationship between the miracle and the prophet, and what is the role and significance of miracles in the success of prophets. In this context, we will explain their worldly success whit miracles that God gave them or natural and social laws God put them. These and other questions will be answered whit examples from the Quran and Hadiths, and even from lives and stories of previous prophets. Especially the Prophet Abraham, the Prophet Moses, the Prophet Jesus and the last Prophet Muhammad's lives are good examples for us.
