INCISIVE CANAL CYST': A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Incisive canal cyst is a common. non-odontogenic, developmental cyst, which is generally located in the incesive canal of maxilla behind the two central incisors. These cysts appear to occur more frequently in males than in females anda re commonesr in the fourth to sixth decades of life. A 44 years old male patient applied to our clinic with complaints of in the anterior palatal region of the maxilla. This lesion was thought as an incisive canal cyst and it was removed under local anesthesia and specimen was processed for histological observation. The lesion was later diagnosed as an incisive canal cyst. In this case report treatment options and differentia; diagnosis ve discussed.
