Background: Communication toward obese patients and negative attitudes in the time allotted to patients can decrease the quality of care provided to obese patients. Determining the attitudes of nurses who care for obese patients is very important for obese patients to benefit from health services effectively. The purpose of the study was to examine the attitudes and affecting factors of nurses working in surgical services toward obesity and obese patients.
