Correlating the Faults of Flexible Endoscopy with the Errors made during Reprocessing and the User Errors

Abstract

Although endoscopy devices are sensitive devices that should be used very carefully, they often fail and become unavailable because of the user errors and the errors made during the reprocessing. In this study, the factors causing defects on the endoscopy devices were investigated with the eye of clinical engineering, and the solutions were recommended.
