Soft tissue changes associated with maxillary surgery

Abstract

In this paper, a retrospective investigation to evaluate the soft tissue changes associated with maxillary surgery is presented. 25 patients who had undergone various maxillary surgical interventions had their lateral and anterior cepholometric radiographs taken pre-operatively and late post-operatively. The results were evaluated in accordance with soft and hard tissue changes. Changes in nose, upper lip: alar base end nasolabial angle, were investigated and summarized.
