Essential oils. absolutes and concretes were prepared from the flowers and leaves of the plant Lavandula angustifolia Miller cultivated in the. Bosphorus region of Istanbul, Turkey The difference in the chemical composition of the mentioned extracts was investigated and compared by using a combination of capillary GC-MS with the aim of offering them as repellent, pharmaceutical mid industrial auxiliaries. The IR-spectra. the yields and the physico-chemical data of the extracts were also analysed.
