dc.description.abstract	cDNA microarray technology has become one of the most widely used functional genomics tool for gene expression analysis. With the use of this new and powerful technology, gene expression patterns of a tens of thousands of genes can be analyzed in a single experiment. This paper reviews array manufacturing, hybridization, scanning and data handling by focusing on critical factors affecting results of a cDNA microarray analysis.
