Abstract

This article points out that the negative lifestyle of Lee Chun-pung, the protagonist of the Korean classic novel "Lee Chun-pung", was caused by psychological problems, and that were formed by his parents' permissive parenting methods. This is an analysis of the characters of classical novels by applying the theory of developmental psychology, and it is meaningful to suggest a new direction for the study of Korean classical novels.
