Abstract

This text written on commemoration to Prof. Berin Yurdadog who has contained valuable contributions to librarianship in Turkey. Ms. Yurdadog, as a republican woman has always been the most important advocate of the profession despite all the difficulties she has experienced and has brought significant values to both her students and the society. She worked tirelessly in the most difficult periods of the republic and took an important place in our history.
