dc.description.abstractExperiments on biochemical methane potential (BMP) have supplied information about anaerobic treatability of organic wastes. These experiments revealed that if the amount of gas obtained is higher than in theoretical methane production, the organic waste is biodegradable in anaerobic conditions.
