| dc.description.abstract | The faunistic study was conducted in 17 boroughs belonging to Afyonkarahisar province between 2006 and 2009. A total number of 809 bee specimens were examined. 80 species belonging to the Bombini (11) and Halictidae (69) were identified. 49 of the determined species are reported for the first time for the Aegean Region and 67 species of which are also reported for the first time for Afyonkarahisar province. The presence of Evylaeus politus (Schenck, 1853), Nomiapis armata (Olivier, 1812), N. bispinosa (Brulle, 1832), N. squamata (Morawitz, 1895), Seladonia confusa (Smith, 1853), S. semitica (Bluthgen 1955) and S. vest ita (Lepeletier, 1841) in Turkey are documented in detail for the first time. | |
