dc.description.abstractA detailed survey study was undertaken on a representative random sample of 900 Istanbul residents to determine their perceptions,attitudes and behaviour toward environmental problems in Istanbul.In addition to awareness and knowledge; importance,intentions,satisfaction and complaining behaviour were measured as well.Responsible local and governmental authorities shold carefully examine the findings of this study.
