dc.description.abstractThis paper presents single-input multi-output voltage differencing differential difference amplifier (VDDDA) filter employing 32 nm CNTFET technology. CNTFET technology is a perfect candidate to replace CMOS technology that is facing scaling issues such as short channel effects. It has unique electronic, mechanical and thermodynamic properties, due its tube channel created from 1D graphene material. We propose new topology filter using only one active building block, two capacitors and one resistor. The CNTFET VDDDA is a six terminal, versatile device, which is electronically controllable and does not need external voltage buffer unit to cascade with other circuits. The AC analyze shows that the maximum operating frequency of VDDDA stage is around 61 GHz, in comparison MOSFET based VDDDAs has maximum operating frequency of 150 MHz. The proposed CNTFET VDDDA filter shows low power consumption of 166 mu W where CMOS counterparts are in mW range, high frequency response with center frequency around 50 MHz where CMOS counterparts in 100 kHz to 1 MHz range and huge reduction in chip area. All simulations were performed by using SPICE simulation tools.
