dc.description.abstract | In this article the Tempest by William Shakespeare is analysed comparatively with the texts themed of utopia of Renaissance-Utopia by Thomas More, Nova Atlantis by Francis Bacon and Civitas Solis by Thomas Campanella. The text in question are classified in three dimensions of common points: a) all take place on a remote island -so far from Europe; b) All questions the ways of establishing a real commonwealth, which means the structure of a model state that would provide wealth to all people; c) All give importance to rules and norms of the relationship between men and women and the marriage in terms of organizing the public dimension. | |
