Objective: Impulsivity has a key role in normal and pathological personality structures and various psychiatric disorders. Impulsivity is related with several psychopathological factors. Many theories have been proposed to explain impulsivity. One of them is "four factor" model of Whiteside and Lynam. The purpose of this study is to analyze the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the UPPS Impulsive Behavior Scale, and to investigate the correlation of its subscales (lack of premeditation, urgency, sensation-seeking, and lack of perseverance) with phenomenologicaly related features.
