dc.description.abstractElectric energy requirement is increasing day by day, so excessive demand for the transmission of high voltage and current has brought problems in high voltage insulation. The polymers used for electrical insulation in the external environment is exposed to environmental conditions. In this paper, ASTM D5288 standards is used to simulate this environmental stresses. In this standard tracking failure of pure epoxy resin samples are investigated. During the expriment, 3., 20. and 50. drop the instant evaporation mechanism obtained through discharge currents, that they were analyzed by the recurrence plot method.
