dc.description.abstractA workshop was organized by the Berlin State Library on the general characteristics of manuscripts in Turkish and Turkic languages and how these works were handled in libraries. This workshop was attended by the authors of this work on behalf of Turkey. The impressions obtained by specifying the issues discussed during the program has been evaluated in the study.. It is hoped that in Turkey, where valuable manuscripts are available, the relevant institutions will raise awareness about organizing workshops on Turkish manuscripts.
