dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Topiramate has a negative modulatory effect on voltage-gated ion channels involved in neuromuscular junction transmission. To investigate the potential impact of topiramate on muscle contraction, phrenic nerve-hemidiaphragm preparations were used as a neuromuscular junction model.
