dc.description.abstractAllergic diseases with various symptoms affecting different systems and their evaluation formed this study. About thirty allergens choosed according to investigations and litterature have been applied to 100 dogs via IDST (Intradermal Skin Test) method. The allergens were mites, house dust, cat, dog, budgerigar and rabbit epithelia, duck feather, cotton, poplar, willow, grass, milk, chicken, cow, mutton, horse and turkey meat, tuna fish, wheat, tomato, potato, chocolate, orange, apple, pear, nut, walnut, egg white and yolk. The percentage of positive reactions as well as formul leukocyte and total IgE and IgG analyses between groups with and without positive reactions were evaluated. Neither haemogram and formul leukocyte nor total IgE and IgG values showed any statistical difference. It was noted that lesions differed significantly such as diet and living conditions having great influence on the allergic disease. We concluded that it was necessary to use multiple diagnostic methods and to evaluate them with clinical symptoms and the anamnesis since, the diagnosis of allergic diseases seems very complex.
