dc.description.abstractMany researches have been conducted on various parameters related to the pollution in the Black Sea, the Sea of Marmara and the Strait of Istanbul. However, there is no report on the mutagenicity tested by evaluating the mutagenic effects of the total pollution, dissolving water samples in acetone, and using a salmonella/microsome test system.
