S,N-substituted dienes and S,N-substituted trienes from mono(thio)-substituted 2-nitrodiene compounds

Abstract

Mono(thio)substituted nitrodienes 1a-b give the compounds 7a and 7b cohen treated with piperazine. S, N-substituted nitrodiene 3a was obtained from the reaction of 1a with p-phenylendiamine. Under the same conditions the compounds 1a-b and benzidine give the compounds 5a-b. The compounds 1a-b from the reaction with aniline in ether yielded 9a-b. Mono(thio) substituted nitrodienes 1a-b give 11a-b by the reaction with piperidine in ether. 13a-c are prepared by the reaction of compounds 1a-c with morpholine.
