Comparison of the temperature characteristics of Alanya and Manavgat

Abstract

Climate has a lot of effects on human and nature. The main aim of this study - "Comparison of The Temperature Characteristics of Alanya and Manavgat" is to define the differences between Alanya and Manavgat stations and reveal the reasons of these differences. Location and relief features have important effects on a country's climate terms. For this purpose Alanya and Manavgat's climate data were taken from Turkish State Meteorological Service. Analysing the data, the comparison of two stations was done and supported by various graphics and tables. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
