THE IDEA OF TRANSNATIONAL COLLECTIVE BARGAINING IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
Özet
The idea of transnational collective bargaining are discussed for years at EU level. But a concrete regulation have not yet signed by reasons of the lack of legal framework and the reluctance of national and international social partners.Despite all the negative discourses, the number of those, who advocate the adoption of transnational collective bargaining policies across Europe are increasing.Even a report in this regard has been prepared.Ales Report (Transnational Collective Bargaining Past, Present and Future-Final Report February 2006) was financed by and prepared for the use of the European Commission. The report is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to an appraisal of existing transnational tools in Europe, the second to the definition of reasons to develop an optional framework for transnational collective bargaining at EU level.
