ENDODONTIC TREATMENT OF A THREE-CANALLED MAXILLARY FIRST PREMOLAR: A CASE REPORT
Özet
Three-canalled maxillary first premolars are endodontic challenges and their occurence is quite low. For this reason clincians should be aware of the anatomical variations in maxillary first premolars and be able to apply this knowledge in radiographic and clinical interpretation. Providing the existence of the third canal with the help of the radiographs before the endodontic treatement will have a positive influence on the prognosis of the treatment. Moreover, modification must be made by expanding the endodontic access cavity on the buccal sisde and in the meesiodistal direction. This refinement will rise the visibility of the root canal orifices located on the base off the access cavity. The purpose off this article is announcing the aspecies which must be taken care during the endodontic treatment of three-canalled amxillary first premolars.
