Globalization and Nation-State
Özet
The discussions about the thesis that modern state structures have been transpassed by globalization and became anachronic elements, are misleading. Because, by the help of these discussions, the non-Western states are put under pressure in a way which maximizes Western interests. Today, the non-Western political structures are expected to follow-only-tkhe Western interests in their mother lands. It is a very narrow role which can be compared with the functions of small municipalities. They are expected not to behave according to their own national interests; but according to the interests of Western powers which are usually called "international system" or "international society".
