The reliability and validity of the compulsory citizenship behaviors scale: Six-Step R-based psychometrics protocol among nurses in Turkey
Özet
AbstractPurpose: This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the compulsory citizenship behaviors (CCBs) scale among Turkish nurses. Methods: The sample of this cross-sectional study consisted of 530 Turkish hospital nurses. We performed six-step protocol to test validation of the scale.Findings: The scale formed a unidimensional scale with good homogeneity (H = 0.79) and reliability (α = 0.94). The confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the five-item single factor measurement model of the scale well fit the data (GFI =.98, CFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.98, SRMR= 0.02, RMSEA = 0.10).Practical Implications: This study determined that the Turkish version of the CCBs scale is a suitable tool to measure the CCBs.
